Pasquale Volpe was born in Milan in 1981. After taking his diploma in Graphic Design from Milan’s Accademia di Comunicazione in 2003 and spending a period in London and Barcelona, he joined A+G Achilli Ghizzardi Associati. He has been lecturing at the Accademia di Comunicazione since 2005, in Masters Courses at NABA and IED since 2007, and at Istituto Marangoni since 2015. He has held workshops in universities in Istanbul, Monterrey, Hong Kong, Bozeman (Montana) and Lulea (Sweden). He has received 14 D&AD Awards for his teaching and he has won 3 One Show College Competitions. In 2008, he established Pvolpedesign, an independent office that employs passion, method and intelligence in the construction of visual landscape, generating projects that have won several awards, including 1 Yellow Pencil, 1 Aretè Award for Responsible Communication, 1 European Design Award and 2 inclusions in the ADI Design Index. In 2007, he created Associazione Good Design and launched Good 50×70, an international project that won him the Medal of the President of Republic from then-incumbent Giorgio Napolitano. In 2012, he launched Design in Town, a summer school for young university talents.
